This year’s theme – “AI: Technology, Ethics, and Privacy” – addresses one of the most complex and decisive challenges of our time: the balance between technological innovation, ethical safeguards, and the protection of privacy.

The conference, sponsored by the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) and accredited for the continuing education of Engineers, serves as a crucial moment for discussion among AI experts, jurists, researchers, and institutional representatives.

Topics covered include: algorithmic discrimination, the European regulatory approach, biometric surveillance, smart cities, machine learning and security, and even the obsolescence of email. A transversal and critical reading, without rhetoric, of the practical implications of Artificial Intelligence.
